Today, Wendy and I headed out for a walk with the dogs. Of course, I threw on my pack for a little added weight.
I have created a unit of measure to track progress and actually do some training before heading out this summer. I intend 10 miles per day with 40 pounds - 400 pound miles. For training and to ensure some level of fitness, I need to build to 600 pound miles per day by the beginning of July.
Today ... I achieved 84 pound miles. It is a start.
It was wonderful.
